On Oceans of Blue

"if you really keep the royal law found in scripture,
‘love your neighbor as yourself,’ you are doing right"*
but how to love my neighbor since i dont love myself
i dont forgive myself
He has forgiven me
He loves me
i cant seem to do it
i cant see why i should be forgiven
even when others have forgiven me
"faith by itself, if not accompanied by action, is dead"**
where is my action
where is my faith
where is my trust
where is my forgiveness
i am dead
well i was dead
He has made me alive
i have to take action
i have to forgive myself
i will take action
i will forgive me
i am taking action
i am forgiving myself
i am forgiven
"for whoever keeps the whole law and
yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking it all"***
i am guilty
i do not love myself
i am not patient with me
i am not kind to me
i envy
i boast
i am proud
i am rude
i am self seeking
i am easily angered
i most definitely
with unfailing doubt
keep a strong detailed records
of every single insignificant wrong
so now
i am forgiven
my wrongs erased
i have the ability
the capacity
to love others
as i love myself
because i love myself
as Christ loves me
i am forgiven
i am free
